Passive-dynamic walking robots:

These videos are from the work of Steve Collins at Cornell University. Take the time to look through his page (link below) on bipedal walking robots. There are also several more videos available at the site. Note that there is no power source for the robots in either video. The forward motion is powered by the gravity via the inclined ramp that they walk along.
