ME Professor Tarek I. Zohdi has been elected Fellow of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM).

The Fellow Award recognizes individuals with a distinguished record of research, accomplishment and publication in areas of computational mechanics. Prof. Zohdi's specific contribution was in the area of computational micromechanics and homogenization.

The Fellow Award will be presented at the World Congress of
Computational Mechanics in Venice, Italy (June 30-July 4, 2008).
