The Energy and Multiphase Transport Laboratory has been operating at Berkeley for decades pursuing research in important topics related to waste heat harvesting, phase change for energy capture and cooling technologies, renewable energy technologies and much more. We host both masters and PhD students as well as visiting scholars and post-doc academics. We foster a collaborative lab environment to enable quality research and engagement in the larger University community. Students are frequently encouraged to engage in outreach efforts and attend national and international conferences to present research and develop networking resources. Graduates have gone off to work at national labs, in academia, as well as industries all over the world.
