Erwin Sutanto is one of the founding member of Aserra Partners, an Indonesian-based investment company with interests in the oil & gas services, mining and real estate sectors. He is presently the vice chief executive of an investee company PT. Apexindo Pratama Duta, which is Indonesia’s leading provider and operator of drilling rigs and FPSOs for the oil, conventional natural gas, coal bed methane and geothermal industries. It is also the only Indonesian drilling company with offshore capabilities. Prior to Aserra, Erwin was the CEO of PT. CP Prima, a global leader in integrated shrimp and fish aquaculture. CP Prima produces feed, fry, probiotics, shrimp and fish products and has presence across all major consumer markets globally. Erwin started his career at Mckinsey & Company in 1998 in Jakarta.
Erwin received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 1996 and his MS in Engineering Economics Science and Operations Research from Stanford University in 1997.
