Masters Degree-Specific Forms
- Application for Candidacy for Master’s Degree (Plan 1)
- This form must be submitted to the Student Services Office Staff, in addition to the online “Higher Degree Committees” eForm located in CalCentral under “Student Resources.” See tutorial.

PhD Degree-Specific Forms
- Qualifying Examination:
- Program of Study for Doctoral Candidates in Mechanical Engineering. ( Turn it in to the Student Services Office Staff for approval prior to the submission of the online application).
- Online Application for Qualifying Examination (“Higher Degree Committees” eForm located in CalCentralunder “Student Resources”). See Tutorial.
- Report to the Graduate Division on the Qualifying Examination
- Advancement to Candidacy:
- Online Application for Candidacy to the Doctorate Degree (Plan B) – (“Higher Degree Committees” eFormlocated in CalCentral under “Student Resources”). See Tutorial.

- PhD Candidate Seminar:
- Complete the exit seminar form to have the Student Services Office Staff reserve a room or a Zoom link, and announce the seminar.
